My Email Sent To the CPC MPs of NB
The Only Maritime Province with CPC MP's
Hi,
As you know, most conservative NBers were Progressive Conservatives, and most of them were Red Tories. We are socially Liberal and fiscally Conservative. Most understand and support the social safety net that has been built to protect us when times get hard, and as New Brunswickers, we understand times get hard! We love our neighbours, whether they were born here or immigrated here from another part of the world, whether they are a member of the LGBTQ+ community, and regardless of what name they call God, if they even recognize God. New Brunswick is a community, and we are solid people!
I am writing you today as a concerned resident of New Brunswick, and I have some questions for you. Before 2003, would you have considered yourself a Red Tory? What do you consider yourself today? Are you a populist nationalist Conservative, or do you respect and appreciate the diversity of our communities?
I ask this question because while things are already in turmoil, if you are a Progressive or Moderate Conservative, how do you feel about the direction of the CPC Party? Are you alright with the https://endliberalracism.ca website created by your fellow MP Jamil Jivani? I reported this website created by that MP as a national security threat to the RCMP, and I hope it is being investigated. Hate groups, such as the people this website is encouraging, are illegal in this country. We are not America, and thank God for that!
Do you support ending DEI as your leader is asking for? Let me tell you a little about myself. I was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces for 14 years from 1983-97. I am a woman, and these were some of the darkest times in our military for women, as I am sure you well know. If it wasn’t for DEI, the abuses in the Military would still be going on at a pandemic scale. When I served, we were denied promotions by the good old boys club based on our gender, not based on our skills. We were passed over for detachments based on the (W) defining us as women after our rank. And when we tried to speak up for ourselves, we were raped into submission. DEI played a large part in removing that. How do you feel about gender equality? Do you believe white men should get chosen for jobs based on their privilege and not on their skills? Being against DEI would say that you are.
I now work in another male-dominated career, STEM, I am a Cyber Security expert. There are no other women in my workplace, and without DEI, I would be treated differently from my male counterparts. Do you think that would be equality? I don’t. When I stopped teaching and I entered the workforce in the early 2000’s, I was a single mother. I was paid less for the same work than the men less qualified than I was. Do you support this? I certainly didn’t.
If these are things you don’t agree with, why are you still pretending to be a solid blue populist conservative instead of a Pink or a Red Tory?
As we all know, Mark Carney is a Red Tory, he is governing from the right, and he has a vision for Canada’s future, not a slogan. The Liberal Party under Mark Carney is more like the old Progressive Conservative party and less like the Trudeau Liberal Party. Why have you not crossed the floor and stood with your values and the values of your constituents?
Conservative New Brunswickers are not into the grievance politics, the personal attacks, the “Canada is broken” garbage. Why are you supporting this? We are not looking for the Handmaid’s Tale to come to life, we are looking to be accepted regardless of our colour, gender, who we love, or what name we call God. Most New Brunswickers do not consider themselves new or old stock Canadians, we are all Canadians. We are not tied to organizations like Diagalon, and we don’t support anyone flying a Swastika. New Brunswickers have a proud history of serving in our Military, fighting and defeating fascism, and respecting each other.
How do you feel about Trump’s America? Maple MAGA, which is the crowd who truly supports Mr Poilievre, admire what Trump is doing to his people; losing over 1 million jobs this year, using food as a weapon, ripping away the social safety net, and making healthcare inaccessible. Do you agree with these things?
Are you proud to be a Canadian? I am very proud to be a Canadian. Do you think everything Canada is broken? I accept we have problems, but I do not believe this country is broken. Do you agree that the CPC party should be holding racist, anti-equality, pro-America rallies at universities in the style of Charlie Kirk from the US? I do not. And lastly, do you think Donald Trump is doing a good job for his people? And by his people, I mean “All Americans,” not just the wealthy ones who bankrolled his campaign.
If I have reached your inner humanity with this email, I would like to ask you to consider crossing the floor and joining the Liberals or declaring yourself an independent. New Brunswick is the only province in the Maritimes that has CPC MPs, and after living here for the majority of my 62 years, the CPC could not be further from the values New Brunswickers hold dear.
Please review your morals, the things that make you want to serve New Brunswickers, and make the correct decision. I was a lifelong Progressive Conservative, and it was the merger with the old Reform party and their populist values that pushed me away, like most of my family. I had never voted Liberal until 2015, and I did it a second time in 2025 because I recognized in Mark Carney the Red Tory. I thought a lot of Joe Clark, and Carney is cut from a similar cloth. Most definitely socially Liberal, but fiscally conservative, and more still, he is telling all Canadians exactly what needs to be done, and we accept this. We all know we have hard work to do to break away from the States, but we are willing to do it for the generations after us. Are you willing to do the work for future generations, or is it your goal to destroy our country with the hatred of Pierre Poilievre’s political grievances? It’s time to put some heavy thought into which side of Canada’s history you want to be on.
For Mr Williamson,
You are my ridings MP. I did not vote for you so I doubt you will listen to me. If you are a true blue populist nationalist conservative you won’t care about my opinion, you only work for those who voted for you. I hope you are intuitive enough to understand you represent everyone in Saint John-St Croix, and your job is to represent all of us. This means you talk to us, you hold town halls, you speak to the press so we know what’s going on when it involves us. I know your party leader is against all of these things, but we are your employer, not him, and if you continue to hide from us, attempting to keep us all in the dark, we will not employ you for much longer.
Thanks for your attention to my long email. I will wait to see the quality of your character by what you do moving forward.

Well, Damn. That was an Email and a half. Well Spoke, madam, well spoke.
Wow! That's one impressive email. I'm a 55 yr old white woman in SK. A province that is generally blue. I've voted this way my whole life. This election I decided to do my research like our country depended on it, because it does. This time I voted for Carney for the very reasons you state. I refuse to vote blue now knowing how wrapped up they are in Maple Maga ideology. That repulses me to my very core. We're never to old to learn and do better. Thank you for this post. I will be sharing this info to SK people. We are Canadians and it's damn time we fight for what we have and kick maga to the curb! 💪🇨🇦
